Nemlig, at krise eller ej, overhovedet ikke afgøres i Sverige eller af hvad Reinfeldt siger eller ikke siger. Og den ualmindeligt blåøjede journalist har allerede glemt Mahmoud Aldebes shariakrav fra sidste år, for slet ikke at tale om Det Europæiske Fatwa-Råds nylige 10 krav til Sverige. Og er det hele allerede overstået ? Efter en weekend med tusindvis af cyberangreb på svenske hjemmesider, nøjagtig som i Danmark. Vilks får mordtrusler hver dag. Der er ikke noget der er overstået, det er ikke engang rigtig begyndt. Jeg ved ikke hvem reporter Josef el Mahdi er, men han er ikke meget bevendt. Hvis man læser Churchill anno 1942 lidt mere dystert: “This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”
”Kättarhundar”!
Våra kära islamister i Sveriges islamiska råd lyfter censurens svärd från staten och lagstiftningen och sätter in det i människornas huvud. Denna lösning är utan tvekan fantasirikare än Orwells skrämmande Big Brother-framtidskildring 1984. Såra inte religiösa känslor annars kan du hamna på bål, få en kula i huvudet, en dolk i ryggen, halsen avhugget, dina barn sprängda i bitar… eftersom man inte kan förutsäga vad som kan hända när känslor svallar på gott och ont!
Med ett annat ord kallas detta respekt för andras värderingar och värld. Och det är något som sker i allt högre grad vad gäller religionen och religiösa föreställningar i det offentliga rummet i Sverige. Religionen som tidigare var mer en privat sak har återigen brett ut sina domäner och åter trätt in i det gemensamma samhälleliga. Religiösa skolor är nu en etablerad del av den svenska skolan. Koran- och bibelskolor för småttingar växer upp som svampar i marken. Slöjan tillhör nu vardagen på dagis och grundskolan. Och talibanismens mest kända varumärke, burkan, har sedan 2003 inte bara permanentat sig på våra gator utan även inne i hjärtat av upplysningen, den svenska skolan, tack vare skolverkets islamofiliska fatwa. »Dutch say radical Islam in new phase«
Radical Islamists have changed tack in the Netherlands and now reject violence but seek to undermine Western values and democracy, the Dutch intelligence service AIVD said in a report. A new generation of radical preachers is speaking out against using violence in the West – a contrast to earlier phases of the movement, during which a Dutch filmmaker critical of Islam, Theo van Gogh, was murdered in 2004, the AIVD said. The current movement is more professional, with a more political message, and aims to establish enclaves within society where Islamic law stands above secular law, it added.
It is also trying challenge democracy, branding it an unlawful system that places men above God.
“They are trying to undermine the independence of women, just as it is taking shape in the Muslim community in the Netherlands,” Sybrand van Hulst, head of the AIVD, told Dutch public television.
“They expressly condemn homosexuality, and thus they are trying to undermine Western values, democratic values that the Muslim community in the Netherlands adheres to,” he said.
The AIVD said it expected this new form of radical Islam to form an inseparable part of Western societies.
The AIVD dates the new phase to mid-2005, saying it is spearheaded by preachers who grew up in the West and therefore have a good grasp of Muslim concerns in Europe and of how political and social processes work there.
Because of its clear stance against violence, this new form of radical Islam reaches a much wider audience and has the potential to grow into a mass movement, the AIVD said. TVZ-Reuters

Ett 167 meter lång spricka i golvet är Tate Moderns senaste konstverk. Den väcker frågan om landsgränser, segeration och rasism.Till en början är hålet smalt som ett hårstrå, men växer och blir både djupare och bredare. Den colombianska konstnärinnan Doris Salcedo berättar för BBC News att hon alltid sätter sin konst i relation till tragedier. Sprickan eller “Shibboleth 2007” vill berätta om flyktingars upplevelser kring rasism och segregation.– Det är en persons erfarenheter som kommer till Europas hjärta från tredje världen, säger hon.
Konstverket tog ett år att göra och fem veckor för Doris Salcedo att installera på Tate.– Sprickan är riktig och inte en optisk illusion.

Hver gang der kommer en ny prut om Che, læser jeg en gammel. Idag blev det “The real Che” af – nå ja, en vis doktor I alle kender, en kollega til venstrefløjens legitime tyran-flirt. Politik og litteratur er fuld af forhenværende læger. Det bedste bevis på, at læger ikke udgør en specielt højerestående menneskeart, hvad specielt journalister og visse patienter synes at tro. Om patienter sagde min yndlingsdoktor jo i Axess videoen forleden: “Det er min erfaring, at de der ber´om medicin, sjældent behøver den, men de der nægter at tage den, som regel behøver den”. Så sandt, så sandt. Hypokondre i alle lande, familiesammenfør jer i Sverige. Landet med pressen, der hver dag opdager en ny, farlig sygdom.
Tørklædemarkedet boomer
Så er der dog noget i Malmø, der går fremad.
Men hon märker att slöjmarknaden börjar vakna även här.
– Innan var det så att folk var rädda för att bära slöja, säger Rabia Yildiz Yavuz, som täckt sitt hår sedan nio års ålder. I dag är hon 24 år. Då i början av nittiotalet var det få som bar slöja i Malmö, minns hon. Inte minst ungdomar i hennes egen ålder. “It is important to realize that Hirsi Ali may be the first refugee from Western Europe since the Holocaust. As such, she is a unique and indispensable witness to both the strength and weakness of the West: to the splendor of open society, and to the boundless energy of its antagonists. She knows the challenges we face in our struggle to contain the misogyny and religious fanaticism of the Muslim world, and she lives with the consequences of our failure each day. There is no one in a better position to remind us that tolerance of intolerance is cowardice.
Having recapitulated the Enlightenment for herself in a few short years, Hirsi Ali has surveyed every inch of the path leading out of the moral and intellectual wasteland that is traditional Islam. She has written two luminous books describing her journey, the most recent of which, “Infidel,” has been an international bestseller for months. It is difficult to exaggerate her courage. As Christopher Caldwell wrote in The New York Times, “Voltaire did not risk, with his every utterance, making a billion enemies who recognized his face and could, via the Internet, share information instantaneously with people who aspired to assassinate him.”
The Dutch Parliament will be debating Hirsi Ali’s case this week. As it stands, the government’s decision to protect her only within the borders of the Netherlands is genuinely perverse. While the Dutch have been protecting Hirsi Ali in the United States, it is actually far more expensive for them to protect her in the Netherlands, as the risk to her is greatest there.
There is also the matter of broken promises: Hirsi Ali was persuaded to run for Parliament, and to become the world’s most visible and imperiled spokeswoman for the rights of Muslim women, on the understanding that she would be provided security for as long as she needed it. Gerrit Zalm, in his capacity as both the deputy prime minister and the minister of finance, promised her such security without qualification.
Most shamefully, Jan Peter Balkenende, the Dutch prime minister, has recommended that Hirsi Ali simply quit the Netherlands, while refusing to grant her even a week’s protection outside the country during which she might raise funds to hire security of her own. Is this a craven attempt to placate Muslim fanatics? A warning to other Dutch dissidents not to stir up trouble by speaking too frankly about Islam? Or just pure thoughtlessness?
The Dutch government should recognize a scandal in the making and rediscover its obligation to provide Hirsi Ali with the protection she was promised.
There is not a person alive more deserving of the freedoms of speech and conscience we take for granted in the West, nor is there anyone making a more courageous effort to defend them.”
