Oslo’s new, fourth mosque, of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in Norway, located in Furuset, Oslo, will be officially opened on Friday. It will be the largest in all the Nordic countries. The Baitun Nasr Mosque will the main place of worship for Norway’s 1500 Ahmadiyya members, and will have a capacity of 4500. The opening ceremony will be led by the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, who is visiting Norway for the occasion. Oslo’s fourth mosque to be opened near highway – People are Frustrated by this symbolic structure Moskéen åpner i dag
After Regensburg, the Vatican adopted an appeasement agenda. Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, who is known for having a pro-Islam position, was appointed by the Pope as the head of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.Indeed, Dialogue with Iran’s mullahs is pivotal in the new Vatican agenda. Recently, a delegation of clergy members of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly visited the Vatican, meeting with top Catholic officials. In June, the Vatican sent Archbishop Edmond Farhat, who is the official representative of Vatican politics, to Tehran to attend an “international conference on the global campaign against terrorism.” Last autumn, Vatican representatives met with Muslim leaders from around the world in Tehran for “a three-day interreligious dialogue.” In Tehran Cardinal Tauran praised Iran’s “spirit of cordiality” and “the friendly Ahmadinejad.”Vatican’s pact with Islam
“Subject: National Police Force Agent Mohamed Anwar. Issue: Islamic fundamentalism. Source: Own. Reliability: Completely secure. Accuracy: corroborated by other sources.”
This confidential note, from the Civil Guard’s information service, dated March 25, reveals how investigations into jihadi terrorism also covers Muslims in uniform.
“This national police officer is radicalizing with time, he has the same profile as Abdel Aziz Faraj \[a false name, as is the one above, used here in order to protect the real identities of the subjects\],” concludes the secret report, written about an agent posted in the Spanish enclave of Melilla, in North Africa. The report details the Civil Guard’s surveillance of the suspect, which has gone on for at least the last five years. […]
“They are dedicated civil servants and they are committed to their jobs,” says a police chief in Melilla. “They have our every confidence and our respect. We are not interested in their religion.” […]
“There are cases of Christian civil guards who have married Muslim women and have converted to Islam,” explains a Civil Guard official in Melilla. “We see that as normal and natural here. We are not prejudiced. In the academies we even have special menus for them.”
“To sum up, his grade is positive, but it has been observed that on issues that mix political issues with religious ones, such as Israel, the 9/11 attacks or the Iraq war, he is always on the side of the Muslims in question, as if he were directly implicated.” This report, from 2003, saw the Muslim soldier in question, who was based in Ceuta, expelled. But he took the case to an appeal and was successful, with an Andalusian court ordering his readmission. […] Why the army and the Civil Guard are keeping tabs on Muslim ranks
Jeg opdagede vist dette i en fjern og mere naiv fortid da Tony Blair i kølvandet på 7/7 udtalte de bombastiske ord “make no mistake about it, the rules of the game are changing”.
The Prime Minister claimed yesterday that he wants to scrap the Human Rights Act immediately – but Nick Clegg won’t let him.
David Cameron was forced to speak out after the Home Secretary warned that the legislation had become a charter for foreign criminals and terrorists.
Put on the spot, Mr Cameron said he, too, wanted the hugely unpopular Act – passed by Labour in 1998 – to be axed and replaced with a British Bill of Rights. But he said that being in coalition with Mr Clegg’s Liberal Democrats was making him go ‘slowly’.
Theresa May called for it to be ditched so the Home Office could be freed from its shackles. […] I want to scrap the Human Rights Act but Clegg won’t let me, says the PM
